6 to 9 months before the wedding

Start a wedding binding/folder. You’ll want to be keeping anything you can get inspiration for. From wedding magazines, wedding conventions, and just anywhere else you might stumble upon an idea.
Plan your budget! Try to factor in what you can afford for your wedding and work with it.
Choose a wedding party. People are dying to know if they made it onto  list so, don’t keep them waiting.

 Find a wedding photographer  It’s never too early to take your engagement photos, and let everyone know about yourexciting news.

Guest List can be a pain, but if you start this list early, you can slowly narrow down your list or send out more invitations in time.

Find a wedding planner/coordinator. Finding the right person can you keep you stress free for the big day.
Plan out your wedding dateand a few venues your interested in.

8 months before the wedding

Hire your wedding photographer and make sure you have ideas for your engagement shoot.
Find and book your caterers. Time to go cake tasting!
Go wedding dress shopping. Bring close friends and family for their opinion.
Reserve a block of rooms at your choice of hotel for all the guest who may not be local.
Register a gift registry. Try to use at least 3 different retailers.
Create a wedding website.It’s something fun and personal and very useful for guest to keep track of all your updates.

6 months before the wedding

Book your florist. Florist can get really busy when wedding season hits, so make sure they have what your want.

Send out save-the-date cards. Engagement photos are always a great way to go for save-date-cards.

Start creating your invitations. There’s tons of designs and printers, pick something your sure about.

Find and meet with your officiant.

Pick out bridesmaids’ dresses. Remember you want your girls to look good, but you are the star!

Start planning out your honeymoon.Make it good, it should be one of the best trips you can have.

4 months before the wedding date

Send out your wedding invitations. This will give your guest time to clear their calendars for your wedding day!

Order your cake. You probably eaten tons of delicious cakes by now, but pick one and get squared away.

Wedding dress fitting and buy your wedding shoes. This will ensure for a perfect fit on your wedding day.

Book your hair and makeup artist. You can always bring examples and try out a few artist before deciding.

3 months before your wedding day

Order your wedding favors. Personalized and cute is always a good way to go.

Finalize your menu, flowers, and music.

Plan out your wedding schedule. It’s always a good idea to allot for some buffer time.

Toasting time.Check with everyone who is giving a toast, if their on track.

2 months before the wedding day

Send out your schedule to all vendors. This will ensure they can plan accordingly also.

Take care of all marriage license paperwork. It may take a few weeks, send those paperwork in.

Confirm with all vendors about schedule and payments.

Assign seating. We want to make sure all your guest has a seat.

week of wedding day

Delegate task for your wedding day. This is why you have a maid of honor and a bestman, use them!

Bridal party 411. Keep your bridal party up to date with the schedule so they can help with anything that comes up.

Pick up your wedding dress. Make sure it fits perfect.

Pack for your honeymoon. Don’t wait until your rushing to the airport.

Have any vendor payments ready. Keep your honeymoon worry free from any payments you forgot.
